Date selection
tools |
Allow you to browse through the employee's
monthly schedule.
Tips:
By default, the Monthly Schedule page displays the four-week period
that begins with the earliest week that was being viewed in the
schedule grid. However, unlike the grid on the Schedules tab (which
can start on any day of the week), the Monthly Schedule page always
starts with the day of the week specified as the start day of
week for your company.
The and
buttons move the Monthly Schedule page backwards and forwards
in four-week increments. You can also change the range of dates
displayed by selecting a date using the
button (or by manually entering a date into the date box) and
then clicking the Find
button. The Monthly Schedule page will refresh and display the
four-week period that begins with the week that contains the date
you entered. To return to a four-week view that begins with the
current week, click the button. |
Recurring
Schedules link |
Opens
the Recurring Schedules page, which displays in a calendar view
the employee's assigned recurring schedules for the four-week
period that was been viewed in the Monthly Schedule. From this
page, you can view and edit the employee's recurring schedules,
assign new recurring schedules, or delete a recurring schedule. |
Button
column |
Provides
buttons that allow easy access to other schedule-related features
and tasks. These features and tasks are specific to the employee
whose monthly schedule you are viewing.
The
button allows you to remove
any schedule deviations and restore the employee's assigned
recurring schedules without any deviations.
The
button allows
you to schedule non-worked time (such as vacations) for the
employee.
Note:
When you open other pages using these buttons, any date fields
in the new pages will default to the week displayed on the calendar
row from which you opened them. For example, if you open the Non-Work
Scheduler by clicking on the row displaying
scheduling information from June 13 to June 19, the default Start
Date in the Non-Work Scheduler will be June 13 and the default
End Date will by June 19. |
Date
cells |
Display summaries
of each employee's assigned schedules for each date.
If
no daily or recurring schedule has been assigned for an employee
on a given day, the corresponding date cell will be empty
except for the date. Click the cell to open the Edit Schedule
page, from which you can create a new daily schedule for that
date.
If
an employee has been assigned a single daily schedule or recurring
schedule for a given day, the corresponding date cell will
display a time pair summarizing the schedule, and the earnings
code associated with the time pair will be displayed in parentheses.
The time pair can be for either worked or non-worked time.
(The Monthly Schedule page does not display the non-worked
icon with time pairs, but it does display the earnings code.)
Click the cell to view more details about the schedule, edit
the schedule, delete the schedule, or create an additional
schedule for the same day.
The
Monthly Schedule page can only display one time pair per employee
per day, so the icon is used to
indicate that an employee has more that one schedule on a
day. When an employee has multiple schedules, the time pair
displayed on the Monthly Schedule page is made up of the employee's
earliest scheduled in time and latest scheduled out time for
the day. Click this time pair to open the Edit Schedule page,
from which you can view and edit each separate schedule.
If
the time pair shown in a date cell represents a deviation
from an assigned recurring schedule, a black dot is displayed
to the right of the time pair.
