Most companies will configure ezLaborManager to require you to change your password after your first login and at regular intervals after that. Even if the application does not prompt you to change your password, you can change it as frequently as you like. Changing your password frequently maximizes the security of your personal data.  For a list of strong password guidelines, see Creating a Strong Password.

Note: The procedure for changing your password varies slightly if the password change was forced by ezLaborManager. If the Reset Password page appears immediately after you log in and instructs you that you must reset your password, start with step 3 below.

To change your password:

  1. In the upper right corner of any main page in the application, click the Options button.

  2. If the Change Password form is not visible on the right side of the Options page, click Change Password in the left section of the page.

  3. In the Enter Old Password field, enter your old password (the one you used to log in to the current session).

  4. In the Enter New Password field, enter a new password. Your password must conform to the requirements listed at the top of the Change Password window.

  5. In the Confirm Password field, enter your new password again.

  6. Click the Submit button. If your new password meets your company's password requirements, a message will indicate that the password change was successful. You will need to use the new password the next time you log in.

If your new password does not meet your company's specific password requirements, you will receive an error message indicating the problem. In this case, return to Step 4.
