This message indicates that you are using
a browser type or version that does not support the correct display
of ezLaborManager.
ADP certifies ezLaborManager
for use with Internet Explorer 5.5, 6.0, or 7.0 and provides support
only to clients who are using production versions of Internet
Explorer.
If your company allows you to download software,
you can download a free copy of the most recent version of Internet
Explorer from Microsoft's Download Centre (www.microsoft.com).
If you are not allowed to download software, contact your supervisor or system administrator.
Although you can use Mozilla Firefox (version
1.0 or later) or Netscape Navigator (version 7.2 or later) to
access ezLaborManager,
Internet Explorer is highly recommended because ezLaborManager has
been specifically designed and optimised for Internet Explorer.
This error can occur if your browser is
not set to use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security protocol.
Check your SSL setting as described in Enabling
Secure (SSL) Access.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is a security
protocol that encrypts the data that ezLaborManager sends back
and forth over the Internet. Check your SSL setting, as described
in Enabling
Secure (SSL) Access, to resolve this problem.
If the client login
name is not correct, click Change
Client, which will open a login
screen with a blank Client Name field. Enter the correct client
login name and click Submit,
and then continue your usual login
procedure. See Logging In for more information.
The ezLaborManager application automatically
logs you out if it does not detect any activity for a certain
amount of time. If the application times out due to inactivity,
any data that you have not saved (by clicking Submit)
will be lost.
The automatic logout
feature is intended to protect your data from unauthorised users
who could access your data if you forget to log out of the application
and are away from your computer. However, to maximise security,
you should always log out of ezLaborManager before leaving your
workstation. To prevent the loss of data due to an automatic logout, you should also click Submit
to save your data as soon as you have entered it.
If you can log in successfully from work
but not from home, your company has probably restricted ezLaborManager
access to certain computers. If you believe that you are supposed
to be able to log in to ezLaborManager from your home computer
or another off-site machine, contact your supervisor or system administrator.
Most companies limit the number of consecutive
failed login attempts for each user.
If you make multiple attempts to log in with incorrect passwords,
your account may be locked. See your system administrator
to have your password reset and your account unlocked.
Although you can
leave your computer logged in to ezLaborManager, doing so compromises
the security of your data. Anyone walking by or using your computer
for other purposes can access your personal data and timecard
records. To protect your data, log out of ezLaborManager whenever
you are not actively using it.
Not automatically--if
you have entered or changed data and you wish to save the new
or changed data, you must click Submit
before you log out of ezLaborManager.
If you have unsaved changes when you click
the
button, a message will be displayed to alert
you that if you continue you will lose your changes. If
you click OK,
your changes will be lost. To abort the logout
so that you can return to the application and submit your changes,
click Cancel.

To change the language used on the login pages, simply click one of the available
languages listed in the Language box on the left side of each
login page. This will change the display
language used on each login page. Your selections will be saved
in cookies so that the next time you log in from the same machine,
the login pages will be displayed
in the language you selected.
Note:
This action will not affect the language of the pages that appear
after you have logged in to the application. To change the language
of the application pages, use the
button, as described in Changing
Your Language Options.
The language selections available on the
login pages apply only to the login pages themselves, not to the application
pages you see after you
have successfully logged in.
The language in which the main application
pages are displayed is controlled by the Language Options setting
on the Options page. This setting defaults to English, but you
can change the language at any time. The Language Options setting
is associated with your user ID, so the language you select will
be used whenever you are logged in to ezLaborManager. For instructions
on setting your application language preferences, see Changing Your Language
Options.
The Language Options setting you used to
change the language of the application pages is tied to your personal
user account, and thus does not affect the login
pages that appear before you have entered your user ID and password.
The Language Options setting affects only the ezLaborManager pages
you see after you have
logged in to the application.
To change the language of the login
pages, use the language links that appear on the left side of
the login pages themselves. See Logging
In for more information.
The language used in the ezLaborManager
interface is controlled by language settings within the application,
not by the language and culture settings for your browser. For
instructions on changing the language setting for ezLaborManager,
see Changing
Your Language Options.
