The Supplemental Earnings Summary only appears if you have earned
or reported supplemental earnings during the period for which
the payroll summary is being displayed. If you know that you have
reported or earned supplemental earnings that are not being displayed
with the payroll summary, make sure the date range used for the
payroll summary includes the dates for which the supplemental
earnings were recorded.
Your Gross Receipts are displayed in this section because they
are not included in your gross payroll totals. Your employer collects
gross receipts data for informational and reporting purposes only.
If you have other supplemental earnings that are included in your
gross payroll, they are displayed in the Supplemental Earnings
Considered Part of Gross Payroll section.
The supplemental earnings figures you enter will always be displayed
on the Supplemental Earnings page with four digits following the
decimal point, even if you are only allowed to enter two digits
after the decimal place. This is done so that the Amount column
will be easy to read, even if you enter a figure that uses more
or fewer decimal places.
There are three possible reasons why you cannot edit a supplemental
earnings entry:
Your company may be set up so that once your
supervisor
has approved a supplemental earnings entry, the entry is locked
and you cannot make any further changes to it. If your company
is configured this way, you can only edit entries that have
not yet been approved by your supervisor.
If one or more of your supplemental earnings entries has been
locked for this reason, the following message is displayed
at the top of the Supplemental Earnings page: "Rows may
be disabled because supervisor
approval has occurred."
When viewing supplemental earnings information,
you may see supplemental earnings records (such as bonuses)
that you did not report. These supplemental earnings have
been awarded to you by your employer and entered by an administrator
or supervisor.
You cannot edit or delete these supplemental earnings records.
You can only edit your supplemental earnings
entries that are within the current or next pay period.
