Although ezLaborManager supports multiple
languages, your company can elect which languages will be used
by your company. If only one language appears in the Selected
Language drop-down list, your company has not configured ezLaborManager
for multiple language support.
In the upper right
corner of any main ezLaborManager page, click the
button.
If the Change Password
form is not visible on the right side of the Options page,
click Change Password
in the left section of the page.
In the Enter Old
Password field, enter your old password (the one you used
to log in to the current session).
In the Enter New
Password field, enter a new password. Your password must conform
to the requirements listed at the top of the Change Password
window.
In the Confirm Password
field, enter your new password again.
Click the Submit button.
If your new password meets your company's password requirements,
a message will indicate that the password change was successful.
You will need to use the new password the next time you log
in.
If your new password does not meet your
company's specific password requirements, you will receive
an error message indicating the problem. In this case, return
to Step 4.
Your account has been locked because you
made several unsuccessful login attempts
in a row. This security feature reduces the likelihood that an
unauthorised user would be able to log in by guessing your password.
See your system administrator to have your
account unlocked and, if you still do not remember your password,
to have your password reset.
Changing your password on a regular basis
reduces the likelihood of an unauthorised user gaining access
to your private data, since the length of time that any one password
is valid is reduced.
Most companies configure ezLaborManager
to force you to change your password after the first time you
log in, immediately after it is reset, and periodically after
that. You can elect to change your password more frequently. It
is a good idea to change your password any time that you feel
it may have been compromised. See Changing
Your Password for instructions.
Yes, you can reset your password using the
Forgot Your Password link at the login screen. Once you
have entered your User ID and verified your account, you will
be able to enter a new password.
Note:
You can change your password at any time if you know your current
password. See Changing
Your Password for instructions.
If the Change PIN does not appear on the
Options page when you log in, your company either does not use
the telephone access feature at all or has not set you up to use
it.
If your company does support telephone access,
you must be assigned a phone user ID and PIN before you can use
the telephone system. The Change PIN option will appear on the
ezLaborManager page after your system administrator has created
your phone user ID and PIN.
If the Change PIN option does not appear
on the Options page, but you believe that you are supposed to
be able to use the telephone to report your time and attendance,
consult your supervisor or system administrator.
You can change your telephone access PIN
as often as you like, either by using the phone system (follow
the automated prompts) or by logging in to ezLaborManager on the
Web and using the Change PIN option. See Changing
Your Telephone PIN for full instructions.
The Edit Reason Lookup window only displays
those edit reasons that have been set up by your system administrator and/or
ADP ezLaborManager representative.
If you feel that another code is needed, contact your supervisor.
ezLaborManager
requires that each edit you make to an employee's record has an
edit reason code associated with it. This allows a person viewing
the edit audit trail to know why an edit was made. ezLaborManager automatically
assigns your company's default edit reason code (usually "EDIT")
to each change you make to an employee's record. However, you
also have the option to select a default edit reason code that
is different from your company's default code. The code you select
will then automatically be assigned to changes you make unless
you manually select a different code when you make an edit.
The next time you log in, no emulation will
be active. To resume emulating another supervisor,
go to the Options page, click Emulate,
select the supervisor
to emulate, and click Submit.
See Configuring User Emulation
for more information.
Your colleague will not be able to view
your timecard information or other personal data (unless he is
your normal supervisor
or an administrator).
In other words, user emulation only affects information accessible
in
Supervisor Services .
The message indicates that the supervisor who asked you to
cover for him has not yet added you to his list of authorised
emulators. He must add you to this list, as described in Configuring
User Emulation, before you will be able to view his employees'
records.
To stop emulating another supervisor,
click the
button
. On the Options page, click User
Emulation, click the Emulate checkbox (to clear it), and
then click Submit. The
change will take effect as soon as you open a new page.
