Yes. You can still benefit from the automated workflow, messaging,
and edit audit functionality provided by time off requests. When
time off requests are approved, non-worked schedules will still
be created in ezLaborManager.
These schedules will be visible within
the Schedules link of the Timecard Manager from the
Manager Home page. In such cases, the earnings code associated with
the non-worked schedules will function as link from the Schedules
to the original time off request.
When a time off request is approved or partially approved and
then accepted, a non-worked schedule is created for each row of
the time off request that was approved. If the approved non-worked
time overlaps any existing worked time, the entire scheduled work
time is suppressed. If you intend for the employee to work the
non-overlapping portion of the previously schedules work time,
you must create a new half-day worked schedule for him.
