The ezLaborManager Reconciliation feature automatically creates reconciliation adjustments to reconcile any discrepancies found between employees' projected and actual hours and rates per earnings code. If and when these automatically created adjustments are accepted by an administrator, they are posted to employee's timecards as non-editable payroll adjustments. These adjustments can be viewed by employees, supervisors, and administrators.

As an administrator, you can view these adjustments by performing the following steps:

  1. Click the Home tab.

  2. Under the Home tab, click the Payroll Adjustment/Unapproval link.

  3. On the Payroll Adjustment/Unapproval page, click the Select button (next to the Find button). The Employee Lookup window opens. Select the employee whose reconciliation adjustments you want to view.

  4. On the Payroll Adjustment/Unapproval page, click the Timecard Detail tab.

  5. From the Date Selection drop-down menu, select the pay period for which you want to view the employee’s reconciliation adjustments. To view the current, next, or previous pay period, select Current Pay Period, Next Pay Period, or Previous Pay Period. To view a different pay period, click the Select button and select a pay period from the Pay Period Lookup window. The Timecard Detail page refreshes and displays basic information for all time pairs and adjustments with pay dates in the time period you have selected.

    Notes:
Payroll reconciliation cannot occur for a pay period until the pay period is closed, so reconciliation adjustments always appear in the pay period after the pay period they are adjusting. The default pay date for reconciliation adjustments is the last day of the pay period in which they are generated.

Reconciliation adjustments cannot be edited, so the adjustment pay date is not displayed as a link (as it is for other payroll adjustments).

  6. To view more detail about a payroll adjustment, click the Payroll Adjustment icon. A time pair detail opens and displays detailed information about the adjustment.

Note: Reconciliation adjustments are also displayed in the Timecard Manager.
