The edit audit feature for attendance exceptions tracks any changes (such as excusing an exception) that are made to an employee's attendance exceptions.

To view the edit audit trail for an employee's attendance exceptions:

  1. From the Time & Attendance menu, select Maintenance.

Note: If the Maintenance option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Practitioner in the Role Selector.

  2. Under the Employee heading on the Maintenance page, click the Attendance Exceptions link.

  3. On the Attendance Exceptions page, click the Select button (next to the Find button). The Employee ID Lookup window opens. Select the employee whose attendance exception edit audit history you want to view.

  4. Use the date selection tools to specify the date range for which you want to view the edit audit trail.

    Notes:
The edit audit feature will display information for the same date range that is being displayed on the Attendance Exceptions page, so you must adjust the date range before opening the Edit Audit page.

The edit audit history will include all attendance exceptions within the selected date range, even if the Attendance Exceptions page is filtered to show only one tracking code.

  5. Click the Edit Audit - Attendance Exceptions link. A pop-up window will display edit audit information for all of the selected employee's attendance exceptions for the period specified on the Attendance Exceptions page.

  6. To view more detail about a particular edit, click the Date of Change column for the appropriate row. The window will expand to display the edit audit details for the selected action.

  7. To view details about another event in the edit audit history, click a different Date of Change.

  8. When you are finished reviewing the edit audit trail, click the Close button to close the pop-up window and return to the Attendance Exceptions page.
