If your company is set up to support more than one culture, you can configure e-mail messages to be sent in a user’s default  language only or to be sent in one or more of the languages supported by your company. If you select multiple languages, the e-mail message contains each language that you select. You can also select the order in which the languages appear in the e-mail.

Note: You cannot configure Inbox messages to be sent in multiple languages. Inbox messages can only be delivered in a user's default language.

To select and order the languages used in e-mail messages:

  1. From the Time & Attendance menu, select Setup.

    Note: If the Setup option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Practitioner in the Role Selector.

  2. Under the General heading on the Setup page, click the Inbox and E-mail Notifications link. The Inbox and E-mail Notifications page opens. The page lists the current language settings for each notification type.

  3. In the Culture Type column, select the Recipient’s Language or Multilingual option for each notification type that you want to change. The default setting is to send messages in a recipient's language only.

    Notes:
    If your company is configured for only one language, the Culture Type column does not appear on the Inbox and E-mail Notifications page.

    If you select the Multilingual option, select the check box for each language that you want to appear in the e-mail message. If you select more than one check box, the order in which each language appears in an e-mail notification is determined by the order in which the languages are listed from left to right.

    To change the language order, click the Set Culture Precedence button on the right side of the page. In the Set Culture Order for E-mail Notifications window, click the Select Row arrow next to the language that you want to move and then use the up and down arrow buttons (up_and_down_arrows.gif) at the top of the far left column to move the language to a different position in the list. When you have the desired order, click the Submit button.

  4. On the Inbox and E-mail Notifications page, click the Submit button.
