ADP Mobile Solutions allows employees immediate access to their Time and Attendance solutions. Your employees who maintain clocking schedules can use their mobile device to clock in, clock out, indicate a late arrival and create timesheets.

Notes: You must contact your ADP representative to activate and configure mobile time features. The configuration will define Labor Charge Fields (LCF) and geographical locations restrictions. You can select a maximum of three LCF's.

To set up geographic location restrictions:

  1. From the Time & Attendance menu, select Setup .

    Note: If the Setup option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Practitioner in the Role Selector.

  2. Under the Mobile heading, click the Geo Locations Editor link.

  3. On the right side of the page, click the Add New button. This opens a blank Geo Location page.

  4. Enter a Geographic ID and Description.

  5. Note: These are user-defined values.

  6. Enter the Address of Location that you will allow time entry from.

  7. Do one of the following:

     Click Get Coordinates.
      One or more addresses are displayed with a location map. Select the correct location to populate the Latitude and Longitude fields.

     Enter the values in the Latitude and Longitude fields.
      The range for Latitude must be from 0°  to (+/-) 90°.
      The range for Longitude must be from 0°  to (+/-) 180°.
     

  8. In the Range section of the page, select a type (Miles or Meters) from the list and how far an employee can be from the designated location where they clock in or out.

  9. Click Submit.
