When you are using the Practitioner role, you can delete recurring schedule templates that are not being used. There are two procedures for deleting recurring schedule templates:

• Deleting multiple recurring schedules at once without viewing template details

  1. From the Time & Attendance menu, select Recurring Schedules. The Recurring Schedules page opens and displays the name and description of each recurring schedule template that has been defined for your company.

     Note: If the Recurring Schedules option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Practitioner in the Role Selector.

  2. Click the check box in the left column next to each recurring schedule template you want to delete. To mark every recurring schedule for deletion, click the check box in the header row.

     Note: If you are unsure which recurring schedule templates you want to delete, use the individual deletion method so that you can view each template before deleting it.

  3. Click the Delete button.

  4. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK. The Recurring Schedules page refreshes and the deleted templates no longer appear in the list of recurring schedules.

     Note: Recurring schedule templates that are currently assigned to one or more employees are not deleted.

• Deleting recurring schedules one at a time after viewing details

  1. From the Time & Attendance menu, select Recurring Schedules. The Recurring Schedules page opens and displays the name and description of each recurring schedule template that has been defined for your company.

     Note: If the Recurring Schedules option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Practitioner in the Role Selector.

  2. In the Recurring Schedule column, click the name of the template you want to delete. The Recurring Schedule page opens and displays all of the properties and scheduled time pairs for the selected template.

     Tip: You can use the Search Options tools at the top of the Recurring Schedules page to search for the name or the description of the template you want to delete.

  3. If you are sure you want to delete the recurring schedule, click the Delete button.

  4. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK. The Recurring Schedules page refreshes and the deleted template no longer appears in the list of recurring schedules.

     Note: If the recurring schedule template is currently assigned to one or more employees, the Recurring Schedule page refreshes and displays an error message indicating that the recurring schedule cannot be deleted.

Note: When you are using the Practitioner role, you can also create new templates and edit existing templates.
