Printing an Employee's Timecard |
|
When you are working in the Timecard Manager, you can access a printable version of an employee's timecard.
To print an employee's timecard:
From the Time & Attendance menu, select Timecards . Either the Single Employee Timecard Manager or the Multiple Employee Timecard Manager will open, depending upon your Timecard Manager Preferences.
Note: If the Timecards option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Practitioner in the Role Selector.
If the Multiple Employee Timecard Manager page opens, click the Single Employee View link near the upper right corner of the page.
Click the button (next to the Find button). The Employee ID Lookup window opens. Select the employee whose timecard you want to print.
From the Pay Date Range menu, select the time frame that you want to print. You can select a predefined range (such as Current Pay Period or Previous Pay Period) or you can use the buttons to enter a user-defined date range. If you select a predefined range, the Timecard Manager refreshes when you make the selection. If you enter a user-defined date range, click the Find button to update the page after selecting the start and end dates.
Click the Printable View link at the top of the Timecard Manager page. The Timecard View for (name of employee) window opens.
Notes:
The Timecard View window displays the following information:
- Date range for the timecard
- Name of employee's supervisor
- Employee's payroll ID
- Employee's company code
- Hours Summary
- Timecard Details
- Supplemental Earnings Summary
- Supplemental Earnings Details
- Signatures (this section can be used to manually approve a timecard)
You can hide a section in the window by clicking the
button next to the section. Any section that you hide is not printed.
To expand a hidden section, click the button next
to the section.
The Signatures section provides space for an employee and supervisor
to sign a printed copy of the timecard. This is useful if manual approvals
are needed. The Signatures section is hidden by default. To print
this section, you must click the
button before printing.
If the timecard has not been processed, a message is displayed at the
top of the window alerting you that the information may change after
the timecard is submitted.
To print the employee's timecard, click the Print button at the top of the window.
