If you have entered supplemental earnings and/or been awarded supplemental earnings by your employer, you can view a Supplemental Earnings Summary that displays your earnings by supplemental earnings code. The Supplemental Earnings Summary is displayed alongside the Payroll Summary and includes a Gross Earnings total that combines your regular payroll earnings and your supplemental earnings. There are two ways to access the Supplemental Earnings Summary:

• From the Actual vs. Scheduled page

  1. Click the My Labor tab.

  2. From the Time & Attendance menu, select My Schedule.

  3. Use the date selection tools to specify the time period for which you want to view payroll and supplemental earnings information.

  4. Tip: If you manually enter a date in the date field (rather than using a predefined category or the button), you must click Find to refresh the page using the new date information.

  5. Look for the Summary section at the bottom of the page. If you have supplemental earnings for the period you have specified, they will be displayed in the Supplemental Earnings Summary.

     Note: By default, only the names of the codes for which you have earnings will be displayed in the Supplemental Earnings Summary that appears on the My Actual vs. Scheduled page. To view your monetary totals for each category (if applicable), click the Show radio button that appears under the title bar for the Summary section. The page will refresh and display your payroll totals by earnings code, your total payroll earnings, your supplemental earnings by supplemental earnings code, your total supplemental earnings (Sub-Total), and your combined payroll and supplemental earnings (Gross Payroll Summary). If you have reported or been awarded any supplemental earnings that are not considered part of your gross payroll, these will be displayed, with their calculated totals, in the Other Supplemental Earnings section, but they will not be included in the Gross Payroll total.

  6. To view information about specific supplemental earnings transactions for a supplemental earnings code, click the supplemental earnings code. A pop-up window will display detailed information about all of the transactions during the specified time period that used that supplemental earnings code.

• From the Supplemental Earnings page

  1. From the Time & Attendance menu, select My Timecard.

  2. On the Home page, click the My Supplemental Earnings button to open the Supplemental Earnings page.

  3. Use the date selection tools to specify the time period for which you want to view payroll and supplemental earnings information.

     Tip: If you select User-Defined Date Range, you must enter a start date and an end date (either manually or by using the buttons) and then click Find to refresh the page using the new date information.

  4. Click the Payroll Summary link near the top right corner of the Supplemental Earnings page.

     Note: A pop-up window will open and display a Payroll Summary and, if you have supplemental earnings records for the specified date range, a Supplemental Earnings Summary. If you have reported or been awarded supplemental earning that are included in your gross payroll, the Supplemental Earnings Summary Considered Part of Gross Payroll section will display your supplemental earnings included in payroll by code, your total supplemental earnings included in payroll (Sub-Total), and your combined payroll and supplemental earnings (Gross Payroll Summary) for the period you selected. If you have reported or been awarded any supplemental earnings that are not considered part of your gross payroll, these will be displayed, with their calculated totals, in the Other Supplemental Earnings section, but their totals will not be included in your Gross Payroll total.

  5. To view information about specific supplemental earnings transactions for a supplemental earnings code, click the supplemental earnings code. A pop-up window will display detailed information about all of the transactions during the specified time period that used that supplemental earnings code.

Notes:
The Supplemental Earnings Summary is only displayed if you have supplemental earnings in the date range for which information is being displayed.

When viewing supplemental earnings information, you may see supplemental earnings records (such as bonuses) that you did not report. These supplemental earnings have been awarded to you by your employer and entered by a practitioner or manager. You cannot edit these supplemental earnings records.
