| Viewing Employees' Attendance Exceptions |
 |
Note: Attendance exception tracking is an optional feature. If your company does not use attendance tracking, the information on this page will not apply to you.
Some companies elect to monitor attendance patterns by tracking certain attendance events. If your company has enabled the attendance tracking feature, specific types of attendance deviations (for example, sick time, late arrivals, early departures, or absences) will be recorded as attendance exceptions in the Time & Attendance module. Some companies also assign infraction levels (such as warnings, probation, etc.) when certain attendance exception thresholds are reached. You can view information about your employees' attendance exceptions and infraction levels and record corrective actions when necessary.
To view an employee's attendance exception history and current infraction level:
From the Time & Attendance menu, select My Employees, then click the Attendance tab.
Note: If the My Employees option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Manager in the Role Selector.
Click the button (next to the Find button). The Employee ID Lookup

Notes:
A summary of the employee's recent attendance exceptions by tracking
code will be displayed. The tracking codes and the default time period
for this display are based on your company's policies. If your company
assigns points to attendance exceptions, the Points column will indicate
the employee's point total for each tracking code and his or her current
total point balance. (If your company has chosen not to display points
for the employee, the Points column does not appear on the page.)
The Number of Records column indicates the number of transactions
	 for each tracking code.

Your company may enforce an attendance policy that assigns infraction
levels when certain attendance patterns or point totals are recorded.
If your company has an infraction procedure, the employee's current
infraction level (even if it is "None") will be displayed.
To view only exceptions
