The following table describes the information shown for corrective actions on the Attendance Exception Detail page.

Date

The date on which the attendance corrective action occurred. Click this date to view more detailed  information about the corrective action.

Tracking Code

The attendance tracking code used for corrective actions (usually Corrective action taken). Tracking codes are set up by your ADP Implementation Specialist.

Hours

This column is not meaningful for corrective actions. It defaults to 0.00.

Points

The number of attendance points applied to the employee's point total as a result of the attendance corrective action. This number is negative, since corrective actions reduce employees' attendance point totals. If your company has chosen not to display points for the employee, the Points column does not appear on the page.

Occurrence

This column is not meaningful for corrective actions. It defaults to 1.

Timecard Exception

This column is not meaningful for corrective actions. It is always blank for corrective actions.

Earnings Code

This column is not meaningful for corrective actions. It is always blank for corrective actions.

Excused

This column is not meaningful for corrective actions. It is always blank for corrective actions.

Note

A note button appears in the Note column, which allows you to add, view, or edit notes for a row. When you click the button, the Notes window opens above the row and the row is highlighted so that you can see which row you are adding, viewing, or editing notes for. Depending on whether a note has been added and submitted, the following buttons are displayed:

Written and Submitted Note

A note exists for a row and the page has been submitted since the note was added or edited.

Written Note but not Submitted

A note exists for a row, but the page has not yet been submitted since the note was added or edited.

Blank Note

A note does not exist for a row and the page has been submitted. This is also the default note icon which is displayed before any notes have been added to a row.

All Notes Deleted

All text has been deleted from a note window, but the page has not been submitted since the text was deleted.

 

Note: Although you can view existing notes for any corrective action, you can only add or edit notes for corrective actions with dates that fall in the current pay period. To add or edit a note to such a transaction, click the note button, enter or edit the note text, and then click Done in the Note pop-up window.
