Defining Core Periods |

As a practitioner, you can define core periods when configuring Flextime rules. Core periods are hours that an employee must work during their schedule.
To define core periods:
From the Time & Attendance menu, select Maintenance .
Note: If the Maintenance option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Practitioner in the Role Selector.
Under the Employee heading on the Maintenance page, click the Flextime Rules link. The Flextime Rules page opens.
Click the Add Another Core Period link. Contracted Core Period rows are added to the Flextime Detail table.
Enter core period start times and end times in the designated fields.
Note: Core period hours should not exceed the value in the Daily Contracted Hours field.
Click the Add Another Core Period link to add additional core periods and repeat step 4.
Click the Submit button.
