Time-based time sheet employees use the Time & Attendance module time sheet to:
Record their worked time by entering in and out times for each block of worked time
Record certain types of non-worked time, such as vacation or illness
Notes:
The procedures listed above are specific to time-based time sheet 
 employees. To determine if you are a time-based employee, see Time 
 or Hours Based Employees Overview or contact your manager.
Some time-based time sheet 
 employees also have access to the clocking and transfer icons, which can 
 be used to perform many of the same actions available from the time sheet. If the 
 Clock In, Clock Out, Lunch Out, and Transfer icons appear on your Home 
 page
