Frequently Asked Questions about Report Scheduling

  • A report schedule that I created has been inactivated. Why did this happen?

A report schedule is automatically inactivated by the Time & Attendance module if a report is generated three times by the schedule without any recipients viewing the report. If this happens, you can re-activate the schedule, if needed. For instructions, see Reactivating Report Schedules.

  • A completed scheduled report has disappeared from my list of reports. Where did it go?

Completed scheduled reports are automatically deleted seven days after they are generated. Under the Completed Scheduled Reports section on the Report Scheduling page, the Available Through column displays the date on which a report will be deleted. A report will be available until the end of the day listed in this column.

  • Why can't I designate other users as recipients of a report schedule that I'm creating?

If the Allow selection of multiple recipients on a report option is not selected on the Client Administration Preferences page, the Recipients section is not displayed. In this case, you are automatically designated as the recipient of the report. However, as an administrator, you can enable the recipients part of the feature. For instructions, see Enabling the Report Scheduling Feature .

  • I want to run the same schedule several times during the same week. How do I do this?

If you want to generate the same report more than once during the same week, you must create a separate report schedule for each day of the week. To create report schedules, see Creating Report Schedules.

  • How many report schedules can I create?

You can create a maximum of 20 report schedules.
