Reading Online Help Pages |

Note: If your browser is configured to block active content, some of the aspects of the online Help described on this page will not function or will function differently than described here. See Configuring Your Browser for Online Help.
The Time & Attendance module online Help window is divided into three sections or panes:
Button (Top) Pane |
The top pane of the window includes the Contents and Search buttons, which determine what information is displayed in the navigation pane. The contents list is displayed by default when you first open Help, but you can change to the Search tool by clicking the appropriate button. See Online Help Overview for a brief description of the contents and search features. |
Navigation (Left) Pane |
The left pane of the window contains three layered tools: the contents, and search pages. You can view only one of these tools at a time. By default, the contents list is displayed when you first open the Help window, but you can change to the Search tool by simply clicking the appropriate button. See Online Help Overview for a brief description of the contents and search features. |
Topic (Right) Pane |
The right pane of the window displays Help information. Each Help page displayed in the right pane is called a topic. When you first open the Help window, the topic displayed in the right pane will be directly related to the Time & Attendance module page from which you opened the Help. |
Tips:
You can change the relative sizes of the left and right panes by clicking
the dividing line between the panes and dragging it to the left or right.
Some portions of the information displayed in the topic pane will appear
in a different color and may be underlined. This indicates a link to more
information, either in collapsed text that will expand when you click
the link, or on another topic page. Click the link to view the additional
information.
If you click a link that takes you to another Help topic, you can use your
browser's Back button to return to the page you were originally viewing.
You can print a printer-friendly version of any help topic by clicking
the Print button that appears on every Help topic.
