Some employees are automatically assigned user access to ezLaborManager as part of an import. Use the instructions below to manually assign user access to employees.

Note: An employee must already exist in the ezLaborManager database before you can assign user access to the employee. For instructions, see Adding Employees to ezLaborManager.

To assign user access to an employee:

  1. Click the Setup tab.

  2. Click the Employee Positions (or Employees) link.

  3. On the Employee Positions page, click the Select button (next to the Find button) to open the Employee ID Lookup window. Then select the employee you want to assign user access.

  4. From the Login Status drop-down menu, select Access Granted.

  5. Click the Select button next to the Report Group field, and then select the user's report group.

  6. If the user should have administrator rights, click the Select button next to the Access Role field, and then select the appropriate access role. This is a required field.

  7. In the Enter New Password field, enter a user password . This is a required field.

  8. In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the password. This is a required field.

  9. From the Culture drop-down menu, select the language in which ezLaborManager will be displayed to the user. This is a required field.

  10. If you have assigned the user an Administrator role, select the Administrator check box. For a list of Administrator capabilities, click the Infolink icon next to the Administrator check box.

    Note: If you select the Administrator check box, you must also select the Admin Access role in the Access Role field above. When you select the Admin role, the Is Supervisor check box is is automatically selected. The Is Supervisor option ensures that your supervisors have access to the Manager Home Page tab, receive notifications for employee time off requests, and access to the Reports button.

  11. Click the Submit button.
