Although ezLaborManager
has a preferred format for displaying dates and times, it is also
capable of understanding and converting the most common formats
used for entering these values. In most cases, ezLaborManager will
convert and re-display your entry as soon as you enter a value
and either press the tab key or click outside of the field. If
ezLaborManager
cannot understand your entry, an error message will be displayed
that indicates the preferred format for the field. For more information,
see Specifying
Dates and Specifying
Times.
If the field in which you need to enter data has a or next
to it, you can use a lookup window to select the correct code
from a list of available codes. See Using
Lookup Windows for more information on how to uses these tools.
The information you are viewing may have been grouped onto multiple
pages to make it easier to view. If this is the case, there will
be a legend at the top and the bottom of the page indicating that
you are viewing one page out of many. "Page 1 of 5,"
for example, indicates that there are five pages of records and
you are viewing the first page.
If a list of values or data has been broken into multiple pages,
you can use the <Previous
and Next> links that
appear at the top and bottom of each pager to browse through the
consecutive pages in the list. You can also click one of the numbered
page links near the top and bottom of the page to go directly
to a specific page.
Note:
Only ten page number links can be displayed. If more than ten
pages exist in a list, the page numbers will "roll"
as you move forward and backward through the list.
ezLaborManager
automatically logs you out if it does not detect any activity
for a certain amount of time. If the application times out due
to inactivity, any data that you have not saved (by clicking Submit) will be lost.
The automatic logout
feature is intended to protect your data from unauthorized users
who could access your data if you forget to log out of the application
and are away from your computer. However, to maximize security,
you should always log out of ezLaborManager
before leaving your workstation. To prevent the loss of data due
to an automatic logout, you should
also click Submit to save
your data as soon as you have entered it.
