When the timecard data you have entered is processed by the Time & Attendance module, some irregularities may be found that generate warnings or errors. If the Payroll Summary section of the Labor page indicates that your timecard contains exceptions (see Viewing Your Timecard Processing Status), you can use the time sheetto view more specific information about the exceptions.

To view specific information about timecard exceptions:

  1. From the Time & Attendance menu, select My Timecard.

    Note: If the My Timecard option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Employee in the Role Selector.

  2. On the Today’s Activities section, click the Time Sheet button.

  3. In the Pay Date Range field, click the Down Arrow and select the pay period that contains the exceptions.

  4. Click the warning ( Warning ) or error ( Error ) icon that appears in the status column to open a pop-up window that describes the problems associated with the corresponding entry on the time sheet.

  5. Repeat as necessary for each time sheet entry marked with a warning or error icon.

Notes:
If you are a time sheet employee, you may be able to correct certain timecard exceptions by editing your time sheet. Some exceptions, however, must be corrected by your manager or system administrator.

You can view more detailed information about any time sheet entry (not just those with exceptions) by clicking the icon in the status column of the row containing the entry.
