The left pane of the Setup tab contains a menu of links that allow you to quickly perform common administrative and supervisory duties. The exact menu items you see will depend on the features your company uses and your particular user rights.

Security Groups

Allows you to assign employees to security groups. Security group assignments control which supervisors and administrator can access employee records.

Change User Passwords

Allows you to change user passwords at any time. You may do this periodically for security reasons, or you may be asked to do this if a user forgets his/her password.

Position Codes

Allows you to view, assign, and add position codes for all employees. Clicking on the Position Codes link will display a list of the position codes available. It will list the code, description and whether the position code is active.

Activate Users

Allows you to re-activate access rights for employees who may be inactive due to a leave of absence or login problems.

Labor Charge Fields

Allow you to define and edit the values that are accepted for the labour charge fields used by your company. You can use this link to view and edit which specific departments (for example, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, etc.) can be entered in the Department labour charge field.

Public Holiday Programs

Allows you to create, view, and edit public holiday programs and public holiday dates. A public holiday program is a series of specific public holidays for which your company awards holiday pay. Your company may use multiple public holiday programs to award different public holidays to different employees.

Projected Pay Cycles

Allows you to configure pay cycles for projected payroll. You can also view and edit the calendar that determine when payroll projections occur. Projected payroll allows you to prepare and export payroll before a pay period ends.

Client Administration Preferences

Allows you to configure company-wide settings associated with reports, calendars, timecard approvals, and e-mail suggestions.

Inbox and E-mail Notifications

Allows you to configure the language and display order and customise the content of automated Inbox and e-mail messages that are sent to administrators, supervisors, and employees by ezLaborManager.

Change Employee Phone PIN

Allows you to change telephone access PINs (Personal Identification Numbers).

Timeclocks

Allows you to name the timeclocks that will be used by your company and assign employees to specific timeclocks.

Timeclock Groups

Allows you to create groups of timeclocks to which employees can be assigned. A logical timeclock group might include all of the timeclocks in a particular building or on a particular floor.
