Using Quick Charge to Record In and Out Times |

You can use the Quick Charge feature to quickly record a clock in, clock out, or lunch out time for one or more time-based employees. This feature is particularly useful in the event of all-hands meetings, power outages, or other events that affect multiple employees and/or prevent employees from being able to record their time.
To record a clock in, clock out, or lunch out for one or more employees:
From the Time & Attendance menu, select Timecards.
Note: If the Timecards option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Manager in the Role Selector.
Click the Quick Charge link.
In the upper right corner of the page, click the New Request link.
On the New Quick Charge Request Step 1 page, select the radio button for the clocking action you want to perform:
Clock In will record a Time In punch
Clock Out will record a Time Out punch
Lunch Out will record a Time Out punch and mark the punch as a "Lunch Punch"
Click the Next button.
On the New Quick Charge Request Step 2 page, select the employees for whom the clocking action will be performed. To select an employee, click the employee's name in the Employee List box and then click the button to move the employee to the Selected Employees box.
In the Charge Time date and time boxes, enter the date and time of the punch to be recorded. The charge date and time default to the current date and time. You can use the button to select the date from a calendar.
In the Description field, enter a brief description of the reason for the Quick Charge punch.
Click the Submit button.
On the New Quick Charge Request Step 3 page, click the Finished button to return to the Recent Quick Charge Requests page.
Notes:
Quick Charge transactions can only be applied to time-based employees.
If you use Quick Charge to record clocking information for an employee
after the employee has approved his or her timecard, the approval will
be cleared and the employee will have to approve the timecard with the
new punches.
You can also use Quick Charge to split existing time pairs in order to
record labor charges and assign earnings codes.
