The Home Tab
The Manager Home page is automatically displayed each time you log in to ezLaborManager.
The right pane contains the following sections and features:
Administrator Notifications section — Displays notifications related to pay cycle errors and licensing issues. If no notifications currently exist, this section does not appear.
Tasks section — Provides easy access to the most commonly performed tasks. Click the icons to view the following pages: Timecard Manager, Timecard Exceptions, Reports, Prepare for Payroll and Move to Next Pay Period.
Inbox —
Displays automated messages related to timecard exceptions, employee
attendance, time off requests, timecard notes, timecard approvals,
imports and exports, and automated reports. The exact types of automated
Inbox messages a user receives depends on his or her user type and
which features his or her company is configured to use. In most cases,
if a task related to an automated message needs to be performed (for
example, if a time off request is awaiting review), the message will
contain a link to the specific ezLaborManager
page from which the task can be performed.
In addition to messages created automatically
by ezLaborManager,
the Inbox also displays custom messages created by ADP. These messages
are sent by ADP to alert specific users of important information,
such as ezLaborManager
upgrades or the release of new training materials.
As an administrator,
you can configure the default order in which Inbox messages are displayed
to users in your company (although System Messages cannot be moved
from the top position). You can also control whether certain types
of Inbox messages are also sent to users by e-mail and whether individual
users can override the default display order and delivery options
set at the company level. For instructions, see Configuring
Automated Messages.
Your Inbox messages are displayed in the Inbox that appears on the
Home tab in each service to which you have access. Therefore, any
messages that appear in your Administrator Services Practitioner Inbox
will also appear in the Employee Services Inbox when you are logged
in with the Employee role. For detailed information about viewing

Automated Messages.
The left pane of the Home tab contains a menu of links that allow you to quickly perform common administrative and supervisory duties. The exact menu items you see will depend on the features your company uses and your particular user rights.
Allows you to view, edit, and approve employee timecards. From the Timecard Manager, you can also access the Monthly Schedule page, the Supplemental Earnings page, and the Payroll Summary page. |

Allows you to report and approve certain types of earnings (such as tips, mileage, meal allowances, and bonuses) that cannot be entered on a time sheet. |
|
Allows you to initiate the immediate reprocessing of an employee timecard. You may need to do this if something (such as an employee's pay group assignment) has changed in an employee's ezLaborManager configuration. |

Group Labor |
Displays an overview of your employees' recent time pairs and payroll adjustments and provides links and buttons that you can use to view more detailed information and perform common editing and management tasks. |
Quick Charge |
Allows you to assign portions of existing time pairs to different earnings codes. |
Timecard Exceptions |
Displays timecard exceptions associated with your employees' timecards for the current and next pay period. |
Exceptions By Employee |
Provides a simple way for you to view and resolve timecard exceptions by employee. |
Unapproved Timecards |
Allows you to view a list of your employees who need to approve their timecards for the current pay period. |
Provides a schedule grid to view, create, edit, or delete schedules for one or more employees. |

Actual vs. Scheduled |
Produces an edit audit history for a specific pay period. |
Allows you to create, view, and edit recurring schedule templates. These templates can be used by any supervisor or administrator in your company to quickly assign regular schedules to employees. |

Displays a list of time off requests. By default, only requests that are pending review and were created in the current calendar year are displayed, but you can filter the list to show requests from other years and with different statuses. You can click the Request Number for a specific request to view the details of the request and, if appropriate, approve, partially approve, deny, or cancel the request.

Allows you to view payroll summary, timecard, and benefit information for employees and perform payroll adjustments and approvals/unapprovals if necessary. |

Allows you to reconcile the projected hours used to generate an employee's payroll with the actual hours worked by the employee and adjust the employee's next payment accordingly. This link is only available if you are using the Projected Payroll feature. |

Allows you to compile employee time and attendance data or accrual data into export files that you can download and then import to external applications (such as payroll or human resources programs). |

When the end date for a pay period is reached in ezLaborManager, you must run Prepare for Payroll for the associated pay cycle. |
|
Allows you to move to the next pay period once the previous pay period tasks are completed. |
|
Allows you to view your employees' public holiday schedules just as your employees view this information. |
|
Allows you to view and manage employee accrual balances (such as vacation time, sick time, or floating holidays). |
|
Allows you to delete employees' accrual balances due to purge, import errors or other special circumstances. |
|
Allows you to view attendance information for employees who belong to security groups to which you have access and to perform attendance-related management tasks as necessary. |

Attendance Notifications |
Provides history of all of the late arrival and absence notifications you have reported in ezLaborManager. |
Employee Information |
Allows you to view and print basic employee information. |
Allows you to import data to ezLaborManager from an external application. You can import data for departments, security groups, employees, users, and accruals. |
