Assigning User Access to Employees |

Some employees are automatically assigned user access to the Time & Attendance module as part of an import. Use the instructions below to manually assign user access to employees.
Note: An employee must already exist in the Time & Attendance module database before you can assign user access to the employee. For instructions, see Adding Employees to ezLaborManager.
To assign user access to an employee:
From the Time & Attendance menu, select Maintenance.
Note: If the Maintenance option is not visible, make sure that you have selected Practitioner in the Role Selector.
Under the Employee heading on the Maintenance page, click the Employee Positions (or Employees) link.
On the Employee Positions page, click the button (next to the Find button) to open the Employee ID Lookup window. Then select the employee you want to assign user access.
From the Login Status drop-down menu, select Access Granted.
Click the button next to the Report Group field, and then select the user's report group.
If the user should have practitioner rights, click the button next to the Access Role field, and then select the appropriate access role. This is a required field.
Note: An access role only needs to be defined for practitioner users. For managers, access to Supervisor Services and supervisory functions is enabled when you click the Is Supervisor box in the employee record . Do not assign a user role to users who should not have access to Administrator Services the Practitioner role.
In the Enter New Password field, enter a user password . This is a required field.
In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the password. This is a required field.
From the Culture drop-down menu, select the language in which the Time & Attendance module will be displayed to the user. This is a required field.
If you have assigned the user a Practitioner role, select the Administrator check box. For a list of Administrator capabilities, click the icon next to the Administrator check box.
Note: If you select the Administrator check box, you must also select the Admin Access role in the Access Role field above.
Click the Submit button.
