Managing Employee Attendance Overview |
|
The attendance features available in the Practitioner role allow you to view attendance information for employees who belong to security groups to which you have access and to perform attendance-related management tasks as necessary.
In the Time & Attendance module, attendance records are created when employees' work hours deviate from their normal or expected work hours. The three main types of attendance events that practitioners have access to are: attendance exceptions, attendance infractions, and attendance corrective actions.
Note: Attendance notifications cannot be viewed from the Practitioner role. Attendance notifications are used by employees to report that they will be late or absent from work on the current or next day. If you have manager user rights, you can view current attendance notifications and employee attendance notification histories from the Manager role.
You can perform the following attendance-related tasks from the Practitioner role:
Notes:
You can only view attendance information and perform attendance management
tasks related to employees who belong to security groups to which you
have access.
